Senior Medical Social Worker

St. Francis Hospice Dublin provides a comprehensive range of palliative care services for patients and their families living in North Dublin City and County.

An exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, innovative team. The purpose of this post is to provide psychosocial support to patients and their families within a multi-disciplinary team.

Essential requirements:
• Have attained the N.Q.S.W. or equivalent.
• Be registered as a Social Worker with CORU.
• Have a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience.
• Bereavement and counselling skills are essential.
• Be computer literate in the use of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Full clean driving license.

Desirable Requirements:

• Experience in palliative care, oncology, medical social work or mental health is desirable.
